Urban Program Advisors
Can you act or step? Are you able to bond with girls from urban communities?
Do you have an interest in working with adolescent/teenage girls in Roxbury and East Boston communities?
If so, you should become an Urban Program Advisor!
Girl Scout, Patriots' Trail Council's urban program Teen Scene focuses on providing girls, ages 11-17, with fun and exciting activities that would appeal to older girls in the urban areas! Programs include Step, Double Dutch, CareerZone and Travel and meet at various community locations such as Orchard Gardens, the Gallivan Community Center, and schools in East Boston throughout the school year. Advisors will mentor and guide girls' work on upbeat projects and participation in exciting field trips.
Teen Scene groups meet weekly during after school hours with additional scheduled activities. This position is a flexible 4-8 hours per week. Pay rate is $10 per hour.

We are looking for individuals who can connect and identify with urban girls. Furthermore, we want advisors to be able to lead and manage these groups effectively and efficiently.
