Destinations 2008

Destinations applications and reference forms are due to the Waltham Office by November 15, 2007.

Calling all girls ages 11-17 and their leaders!

The council must verify a girl's Girl Scout membership and be informed of the girls applying for events for financial aid and risk management purposes. Destinations include both national and international events and are an excellent chance for young women to experience independence and responsibility while traveling to exciting or exotic locations. International events require a minimum age of 14 to attend and must be listed as your first choice event. For a complete listing of events available check out the Studio 2B website at www.studio2B.org and click on the "Escape" section.

You can download an application with council contact information from the council website at www.ptgirlscouts.org or request one from the council offices. Girls may apply for one international and three national or four national events. Two letters of reference are required, usually one from a Girl Scout Adult and one from an Adult familiar with the girls skills and abilities, (no relatives please). References should also be completed and sent to the Waltham office by November 15, 2007. It is recommended that the application be typed.
