Chair of the Board Scholarship

Girl Scouts, Patriots' Trail Council is currently accepting applications for the Chair of the Board Scholarship. Scholarship(s) will be given to a Girl Scout who is a graduating senior in recognition of her leadership within the community. The scholarship is to be used toward post-high school study.

Recipient Criteria

• must be graduating from high school in 2008
• must be currently registered and active as a Girl Scout in Patriots' Trail
• shall have been active in a troop for a minimum of four years and at least two of those years must be after the 5th grade
• shall have demonstrated significant involvement in the community

Process

• Applicant must provide three references (one from school, one from the community and one additional reference of her choice)
• Applications must be typed.
• All application packages must be complete to be accepted. You will be notified when your complete application has been received.

Important Dates

Your application and three letters of reference must be received by Friday, April 18, 2008.
The recipient of this award will be notified by mail no later than Friday, May 30, 2008.
