Evergreen Nature Center at Cedar HillPhoto: Evergreen Nature Center

Located at Cedar Hill Outdoor Center in Waltham, the Evergreen Nature Center has hands-on exhibits to explore, environmental puzzles, microscopes, bird feeders, games and much more. Use Evergreen's resources to complete requirements for Try-its, Badges and Interest Projects.

Troops are invited to make displays and exhibits about topics that interest them to add to the Center.

There is no charge to use Evergreen, but donations of birdseed and old issues of nature magazines (Ranger Rick, Audubon, National Wildlife or Sanctuary) are welcome between September and April.

Leaders must attend an orientation prior to bringing their troops to the Nature Center. Call Chris Davis at 781-893-6113 x 223 for more information.
