Girl Scout Museum Everyone is invited to tour the Girl Scout Museum at Cedar Hill to learn how Girl Scouting has changed since Juliette Gordon Low founded the first troop in 1912. Museum exhibits include photographs, uniforms and much, much more. This program is FREE!
Go For It! Gold Award This training is for girls in grades 9 -12 who are interested in pursuing Girl Scouting’s highest girl recognition, and for leaders and adults who might be helping girls achieve the Gold Award. Learn how to apply for the award, plan an appropriate Gold Award project, and discover some tips on how to achieve this award. Remember, the current Gold Award requirements are now found in the “Girl Scout Gold Award Go For It!” book. Free program/training pre-registration is required.
Paddle Away Weekend (grades 7-12) Earn Paddle, Pole and Role IPP by perfecting strokes and logistics of canoeing with a group. Participants will sleep in platform tents and cook meals outside. Girls in grades 7-12 (must be 12 years old to participate). Enrollment is limited to 20 girls. Attendees should be experienced campers. Preferential placement will be given to first time attendees.

Program Aide Specialty Training: Outdoor Skills This training is open to girls who have completed the Program Aide Core Training. Developing confi dent outdoor skills is a must if you love spending time with nature. In this training, you will learn how to build a campfire, run campfi re activities, teach fi re-building, use box and dutch ovens and make dinner for yourself.

Trashy Art Show One woman's trash is another's treasure - and we're proving it at this spectacular celebration of recyclable art! Drop in to see exhibits of Junk Jewelry made by Junior Girl Scouts, Salvaged Sculptures created by Brownie troops, and stay for the main event: A "Project Runway" - style fashion show where Teens will strut their stuff in GARB-age they've designed themselves. "Scrap Stations" throughout the event will give everyone a chance to make their own recycled art creations. Whether you come for an hour or stay the entire time, you'll be sure to appreciate this unique gallery of terrific trash. Please note: All are welcome to attend the Trashy Art Show - this is a Family Event. However, to be eligible to exhibit pieces in the Trashy Art show, make sure to contact Joanna Lenahan, jlenahan@ptgirlscouts.org, to sign up for table space. Each age level has been assigned a topic: Brownies - Recycled Sculptures; Juniors - Recycled Fashion Accessories; Teens - Fashion Design. FREE EVENT
Zoar Gap Whitewater Rafting Come out to western Massachusetts for a fun, adventurous ride on class II and III rapids on the Deerfield River. Rapids include the Freight Train, Pinball, and Microwave. A fantastic trip for first timers on White Water Rafting! Participants will have an exciting day that includes lunch, wet suit rental, PFD’s and helmets. This program will fulfill a bridging requirement. Adults: $65.00; Girls: $55.00
Zoar Gap Whitewater Rafting The Dryway Experience Class IV rafting excitement on the Deerfield River’s most exciting section, the Monroe Bridge Dryway. From Factory Rapid past Dunbar Brook, Dragon’s Tooth and Labyrinth, the rolling whitewater keeps you on your toes while the rugged northern Berkshires provide a backdrop of exceptional natural beauty. We stop for a snack along the river, but after the trip, we return to our basecamp where a hearty barbecue lunch and a slide show of the day’s adventures await. Wet suit rental, PFD's and helmets are included for this trip. Our highly skilled guides really make the difference on this maze of rocks, holes and waves.
