Camp Favorite
Check for available dates
Available May 1-June 15 and September 1-October 15. Located on sixty-five acres on Long Pond, Cape Cod, Camp Favorite occupies a sandy pine/oak forest bluff. The camp has two small beaches and a playing field. The lily pond offers wonderful nature exploration opportunities.
All the varied resources of Cape Cod are within driving distance. The Cape's system of biking trails runs along Crowell's Bog, near the camp. Cape Cod National Seashore is nearby, as well as the Natural History Museum. Both sites are great for large groups and are delightful day trips.
Because of the fragile ecology of the area, wood may not be available on your site. Your confirmation materials will give you details. Service projects usually focus on preservation of the fragile bluff environment and include planting, landscaping, trail maintenance, and reclamation. Contact the Site Manager for details when you receive your confirmation materials.
The dining hall main room is available for troop camp usage in bad weather only. The kitchen is not available.
