Available May 1-June 15 and September 1-October 1. Camp Menotomy's 110 acres of pine forest are heavily wooded and rocky in several areas. Patriots' Trail's most primitive site, it is perfect for girls who love camping and are looking for a challenge in the out-of-doors. Experienced campers will find the beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee region well worth the trip. Menotomy is an excellent "base camp" for hiking, climbing, or backpacking in nearby mountains. Service projects usually involve trail maintenance and camp clearing.Nearby resources include the Mt. Washington Cruise Boat on Lake Winnipesaukee; the White Mountains, just one hour away; Weir's Beach Waterslide, just south of Meredith; the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, open year round; Cannon Mountain Tramway; Polar Caves at Plymouth; and excellent day hiking within easy distance of camp.
Two refrigerators in the pavilion across from Beeches are shared by all site users. An additional two refrigerators are in the dining hall, which is available for shelter in bad weather. A pay phone is in the office.
