Camp Cedar Hill

Check for available dates

Camp Cedar Hill's 75 acres are used for summer day camp, year-round troop camping, community activities, programs, and volunteer meetings. The site is also home to the Girl Scout Museum at Dennett House, a Service Center housing our membership staff, and the Country Store. Located at 265 Beaver St in Waltham, the site is accessible by public transportation, and lies only eight miles from Boston.

With a pond and stream and an extraordinarily diverse selection of wildflower and tree species, Cedar Hill attracts a wide variety of birds, and illustrates many lessons in environmental science. The Evergreen Nature Center and a handicapped accessible nature trail are available to troops studying nature.

Cedar Hill Outdoor Program Center has belonged to the Girl Scouts since 1923, when it was bequeathed to the organization by Miss Cornelia Warren, a longtime benefactor.
