Helen Storrow Heritage Award
The Helen Storrow Heritage Award is presented by Patriots' Trail Girl Scout Council's Board of Directors to recognize and honor adults whose lives and contributions in the past were pivotal to the growth and strength of Girl Scouting in the area that now comprises Patriots' Trail Girl Scout Council.

List of past recipients
Criteria for Selection:
- Adult members, either living or deceased, who were registered with Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. as volunteers or employed staff at the time of the contribution.
- The candidate's contribution changed the course of Girl Scouting in this area by fostering growth, initiating programs or providing continuity and stability.
- Each candidate's contribution is to be evaluated and presented no sooner than 10 years after the pivotal contribution.
How to Apply:
Any Girl Scout group may make an application for an individual to receive this award.
Complete the nomination form (Word download) and attach 2 letters of endorsement (Word download) to the application.

Applications are due January 15th. It is suggested that the proposed nominee not be informed of her/his nomination.
It will be the responsibility of the panel to determine where the proposed award will be presented. Action by the Panel and Board of Directors will be communicated to the sponsoring group.
